As the Front of House Manager, Janine is the first smile you see and the last one to wish you a great day.
After years spent on stage as a professional singer and dancer and having served as Company Manager and Head of Wig Maintenance, Janine developed a keen eye for detail and a love for working alongside artistic personalities.
Janine oversees all aspects of our exceptionally busy Front of House and the customer experience.
Janine has a friendly and positive attitude, with a great combination of professional skills to best serve our clients and manage our team in delivering customer service consistency on each and every booking.

Nadine started her career at Laura Leigh Hair and Beauty at the age of 16, after qualifying as a hairdresser Nadine chose to specialise as a colouring technician. Throughout the years she has excelled in many L'Oreal expert courses and has earned a Loreal colour degree. The highest accolade awarded to professional colourists. Nadine has progressed to her current position as Senior Colour specialist, Hair Extension Technician and Technical Trainer within the salon.
Nadine specialises in achieving personalised, natural hair colour. Her technical skills and experience mean that she has a keen eye for colour and works with a spectrum that best enhances your skin tone. Nadine is an integral part of the Laura Leigh Team and has dedicated 16 years to the business. Nadine is a colourist in demand and has a loyal following.

Mel joined Laura Leigh in 2018 bringing with her 30 years experience in the hairdressing industry.
After completing an NVQ level 3 in hairdressing and a diploma in beauty therapy Mel started her career as a stylist with the international company of Toni and Guy progressing quickly to Director level. During this time she spent time working with Toni & Guy in Cambridge and Knightsbridge London. Mel has participated in several industry competitions, photo shoots, and undertook many courses developing her own skills in advanced cutting techniques in London and Manchester.
Mel took a short break from salon life to have her two beautiful daughters Ella and Fleur. During this time she worked freelance and explored her love of holistic therapies and completed a diploma in reflexology.
She has continued to develop her knowledge and skills and is very proud to have been awarded the prestigious L’Oréal colour degree which is held by the most experienced colourists in the UK.
Mel enjoys all aspects of hairdressing from cutting precision bobs to curly styles. She loves creating texture and interest to both long and short hair and shares her knowledge and experience with the younger members of the team.

Sophie started her career working at Laura Leigh Hairdressing as an apprentice in 2005. Sophie is one our most experienced stylists. After completing her NVQ 2, 3 and advanced diploma in hairdressing Sophie enjoyed several years as a popular, busy stylist in the boutique salon on the promenade. During her career Sophie has developed her creative cutting skills and has been successful in several industry competitions such as the Wella Trend Vision Awards and the Loreal colour trophy
Sophie assists Laura on photographic shoots and helped to design the original trademark loose hairstyles for the SUPERDRY fashion campaigns.
Sophie took a short break from the salon to have her children Mila and Bodhi. She now works part time, combining being a busy mum and working in the salon.
Sophie's passion for long hair took her skills further and Sophie spent some time working as a freelance hairstylist, specialising in bridal hair and working on private projects around Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.
Sophie has over 19 years hairdressing experience and specialises in advanced cutting techniques, precision cutting & short haircuts, including men’s hairdressing.
Sophie also creates soft versatile textured layering. In addition to long hair styling, beautiful blowdrying skills, up-styling and bridal hairdressing.

Luke began his hairdressing career as an apprentice in his home town of Cheltenham, after completing his classic hairdressing training he moved to London where he developed his creative skills further becoming a regular stylist at London fashion week shows such as, Christopher Kane, JW Anderson, Felder Felder and House of Holland.
His passion for hair, fashion and travel took him to Australia, Berlin and most recently to India where he began his Yoga training.
Luke’s wealth of experience coupled with his unsurpassed expertise and warm demeanour ensures he knows exactly what to deliver when a client needs a full and detailed consultation to revitalise, change or simply maintain their signature look.

Lucia started her career with Laura Leigh Hair & Beauty in 2018 with some work experience, at the end of that week Lucia was offered a Saturday position. Lucia began a hair & makeup artistry course at college and completed a level 3 qualification. Inspired by the team of stylists in the salon Lucia chose to further her knowledge in hairdressing. Lucia began her full time apprenticeship in the salon, she has now completed her nvq level 2 & 3 in hairdressing. Lucia has a L’Oréal colour specialist degree.

Abby always wanted to work in the hair industry and joined the Laura Leigh team in June 2021 as an apprentice having just completed her GCSE’s. Since joining the team 5 years ago Abby has completed her NVQ in hairdressing and has become a beauty works hair extension specialist in the salon.
Abby has found her passion for colour and hair extensions, specialising in balayage techniques and colour blending to create seamless hair extension placements for a truly natural look.

Emily has always had an ambition to work in the hair industry and joined the team at Laura Leigh Hair & Beauty shortly after completing her GCSEs in 2022.
“Growing up I was always extremely interested in hair, watching fashion shows and looking at all the different hair styles really inspired me and is what made me decide to go into the industry. As soon as my GCSEs were finished I wanted to get into the industry straight away so joined my apprenticeship. I love watching my colleges and learning from them everyday, they all inspire me to be the best hairdresser I can be.
Emily's speciality is easy to wear, soft, textured and voluminous hair is Emily’s signature look.
